Being from michigan and a lover of lost worlds. Who were these people that mined copper more than 5000 years ago and left with out a trace other than tools. Might they have just been there for the copper and where did it all go?

It is estimated that 1.5 billion pounds of copper were mined by these unknown people.

The ancients could have visited america a long time ago. South americans have jade, Egyptian mummies have been found with traces of cocain nicotine and THC, which no one found to be odd at the time, except the cocoa plant is only found in south america, and blacks were here a long time before anyone else.

Your external source is a googly-eyed madman. No such amounts of copper were ever mined in that age in Michigan.

This subject has come up here before, over a year ago, and was roundly dismissed as fluff. If you use the search function on your title for this thread, I'm sure you'll see why.
