Not played it yet, but I will some time...
Can you just answer me 1 question?
Is therre anything like the 3 day thing like majoras mask, that kinda bugged me...
and have they made the save system better???

i liked the 3 day system in majoras. it made for a good story . the save system is nice and u wotn find save points. u can save anywhere u want, but say u save halfway in a dungeon, u will restart at the beggining . everything u accomplished inside the dungeon is saved though.

the story for this zelda is very deep and dark. i like it and im currently inside the first dungeon. typical enormous zelda dungeon with puzzles galore. i hope to beat this dungeon tonight because i want to know more about the story . if u like zelda u will love this game. the wii is awesome!

tbh, I wouldn't mind having a PS3 and a Wii; Can't we all just get along?

I seen some pics of twilight princess on the net and it shows alot of people in the market place, can you talk to everyone or are they just there for the sake of it???

i havent been to the place you are talking about , but its very easy to talk to people in tp so im sure u can talk to everyone in the market. u talk to alot of people throughout the game . its more personal then zelda games are used to.

the game seems to start off kinda slow , but its mostly getting u used to the controls. the story line seems slow and too peachy but that all changes . having the start of the story be so happy go lucky is very intentional. for all the zelda lovers in the world, we are very very very pleased with tp.

i agree with u, i wouldnt mind having a ps3 and wii, but i could never justify spending money on games for two consoles at once. ill just play my friends ps3 after he mods it. yeah that is sad but it will be my only chance to see the whole library of ps3 games.

So whats the wii mote like, is it very responsive or is it a little starnge to begin with, how does it play with zelda???

Takes a bit getting used to(for me around 3 minutes), but I'd say it's far superior to anything I've used before on a console. It's still not up to par with a Mouse and Keyboard but I'm sure that's just a coding problem and not a technical limitation.

I was never good at 1st person shooters with console pads, I imagine this would make it so much smoother now.
The mouse on a pc has always been the best way for 1st person shooters.

Edit: Looking around the net it constantly says wii mote AND nunchuck controllers,
Are they 2 different things and do you have to buy the nunchuck seperatly???

the wii mote is very responsive ,and it seems like such games SHOULD be played with such a controller. isnt that the idea of a controller? to control the game. it feels natural after u get used to it. i think it adds to the fun factor using the wii mote. the only thing that sucks about teh wii mote and zelda is we had to play ocarina and majoras mask with the typical analog control pad.

any game could be easier to play with the wii mote. for all you sony fans, it would make gta better to play. imho.

Did you like the windwaker, I thought it was good with good graphics, just not as many side missions as majoras mask or even ocarina of time.
I wonder if they incorporate a boat into twilight princess anywere..

I'm glad to see the fishing is back (well atleast from what i've seen on clips) Majoras mask should have had it, even though it was only a small part of oot it was fun as hell...

I asked above but no one replied, does the nunchuck come with it or do you buy it seperatly????

The Wii system comes with both 1 Wiimote and 1 nunchuck attachment.

I bought Majoras Mask about 7 years ago, I completed it for the first time this morning, I dunno I just gave up on it along time ago due to being alittle overwhelmed with everything I had to do to get everything...

But what I want to know is With TP are there loads of masks you have to get and is there anything like the 3 day time period???

I'm really interested in wether you get to use the giants mask at all, a little dissapointed I only got to use it on one boss and only in that area...

Can you go fishing whenever you want like Ocarina of time???

HAve you been able to put it down???????lol

there are no mask. you turn into the were wolf and that is better then using any mask from majors.

instead of the young and old link of ocarina, or the 3 day cycle of majors, twilight has the "twilight world" it is very cool. its like a parallel dimension .

you can fish anywhere u see water and fish, but i only have the weak bobber pole right now so its not as fun , yet.

i think ill get the lure fishing rod after i beat level 3. you can even get a frog lure for bass. i cant wait. my kid loved fishing on ocraina , and she is going to flip when she plays the lure fishing on TP. i played the lure fishing at gamestop, and its quite enjoyable. her and i both fish in real life, so that just adds to the enjoyment for us. my daughter loves the zelda series, so i only play it when we both have time. that is why i am just now getting to level 3. if i didnt have a kid i would have already beat this game, because it wouldnt be easy to put down. this game rules!!!!!!

the fishing insnt just awesome. fighting on epona is freaking challenging and veryfun, and using the bow for certain things is just amazing with the wiimote. when u first shoot the sling shot, the boomerang,or the bow and arrow with the wiimote, u realize the wiimote is here to stay .

i cant believe it took home consoles soooo long to give us such control of our games.

twilight is the best zelda in the series. the story line is deep and mysterious. last nite my kid got really scared because the story is kinda dark. i will be very very sad when i finish this game , because classic games are never the same the second time through. kotor is an example of this.

peace

Cool, I saw a clip of him fishing from a boat and assumed it was THE fishing lake but if there are lots of lakes scattered about thats just cool...
What do you do with the fish, can you eat them???

Are you in Hyrule or another place???

i dont want to spoil any of this game for you so dont ask to many questions. it does take place in hyrule though. ive only fished for fun so far, but i ran into this dang parrot and it wouldnt talk to me cuz i was a human, so i tried to catch a fish to see if the parrot would react to it, but the dumb fish wouldnt bite
i didnt have any worms on my hook at the time, so i should try to go back with some worms to catch the fish at the parrot to see if anything happens. u can catch fish without bait, but it works better when u put a grub on the hook. so far i have hit 3 fishing holes, and lake hylia. it keeps records of your fish in a log so right now its just about fishing for fun, but im very sure u will need a fish for something somewhere in the game. you do carry the fishing pole with you at all times, its not like ocarina where u can only fish that one little pond.

i did get a chance to ride the rapids in a boat today. it was sweet! after my kids christmas concert tomorrow, we are going to attempt to beat level 3 and im hoping/ guessing ill get the lure fishing pole after . crap now that i think about it , i might be able to get the lure fishing pole before level 3 but we were too busy messing around in the boat.

Ok i'll stop with the questions about the game it self but one last thing, i've been reading about it and one review said the sound the comes from the wii mote sounds chaep and tinny and also breaks up a bit but you cant really trust everything that comes from gamespot (ever since reading about gta sa before release on there, they promised so much that never came) so from an actual gamer whos played the game wahts your oppinian of the wii mote sound???

posted on Dec, 8 2006 @ 12:11 AM

the sound from the wii mote was my only complaint. when ever u recieved an item it would almost hurt your ears........

then i figured out how to turn the volume down. after that i had no complaints about this game. hearing the bow string being pulled on the wii mote is awesome. the speaker makes the game more appealing . you just have to turn the volume down to level 3 , i think it comes set on level 5 or6. dont listen to gamespot, they are ps fanboys.

if you played all the way through majors, u will love tp. its 100 times better and majoras was a very sweet game. the moment u hear the music at the wii menu for twilight princess, u know you are about to play a classic video game. i must retire to bed now, i have to wake up in 5 hours
