Cats and dogs are way to different genetically. That's like a human giving birth to a horse. I would understand it perfectly if it was a wolf giving birth to a dog/wolf hybrid, because they are almost 100% identical genetic wise.

They will check the ratio of the amount of chromosomes.

Can't be anything other than a hoax. If it's not a hoax, it's paranormal. Which I highly doubt happened. Species have to be closely related genetically to be able to procreate. Cats and Dogs are not even in the same family of species. The only thing they have in common is that they belong to the carnivore order.
