I've dealt with this my whole life, I constantly pop my ears as well akin to the same feeling being on a plane only when you aren't I've popped them at least 5 times while typing up till now, and will get super high pitched ringing alot as well, I went to the doctor awhile back and he told me it was TMJ and had me take muscle relaxers but that did nothing at all. I have just kinda learned to deal with it at this point, doesn't seem like it's going to go away anytime soon >.>

I also have the ringing but the source doesn't seem to be from the ear but from somewhere in the brain. My Doctor says there is no medical treatment for this.

I've heard theory that it may be some kind of "Imbalance" or sort.

It's a high pitched sound similar to what's heard from the back of an old TV set. The intensity comes and goes. A few times have been so loud it effects my sleep but usually no problems.

I'm so used to it that I forget it's even there until I'm reminded.

(Thanks a lot)

I don't hear any ringing in my ears. At night I hear a deep hum, kinda like a loud car running in the distance. It's not a constant sound, it kinda sounds like a womp womp womp

Sometimes it's so bad I can't sleep.

I describe it as the sound that those disposable cameras make when the flash winds up, varying in intensity
