Profile help for the inept

Can any of you technically savy folk advise me on how to attach the following banner into my signature field ? I have searched ATS/BTS but have had some problems. ( do I need to place a "[url]" or " [img src]: " html stuff before and after the link ? or do I just upload and paste in the box ???

First you need to reduce the size, 50x500 is the max allowed and yours is well over that.
