With the election results becoming clear, will today be a day of rejoicing for you, or a day of grief?

What do you expect to happen in the next two years?

It's a day of cautious celebration and rejoicing for me. I'm not a democrat, but I think this country can only work well with checks and balances firmly in place and for the past 5 years, they haven't been. So, that's what I'm cautiously celebrating. Balance.

I'm very hesitant, though to have my hopes high for this country. What is going to happen between now and January, when this new House comes into power? That question will likely haunt me for a while...

If everything goes smoothly through January, I expect the troop movement out of Iraq to get well underway. I expect the rest of the world will start looking at us in a slightly different light because one party doesn't have complete control.

To tell the truth, I expect 'something' will happen to nullify any power the Democrats might think they have, but we'll just have to wait and see.

How about you?
