could this be a ghost? like a ghost in the machine/desert ghost?

the world's ghost? The ghost of the earth?

Mother Nature herself? Revealing her hideous face?

Any Aussie know much about the Tirari desert, and what the lighter colors could be? I don't think it's a ghost or any of your other ideas, but I've never seen colors like that in a desert.

It takes a big stretch of the imagination, from what I "see" kind of like a halloween mask at a Masquerade type party. Closest description I can come to, tilt your head to the left a bit. Although I still don't think it's anything other than a natural formation. And no not the face of "mother nature in all her ugliness."
