Ok, I can't deny that I'm curious. It's probably nothing but it doesn't hurt to ask I guess.

Whilst watching UFO Files on the History Channel when a speaker was revealing a lot of information about the department of Foreign something it just blacked out!!

There was a straight black screen for 30 seconds, came on to some adds and then just switched mid-add back into the UFO files, the previous speaker long gone.

So, my question is, did this just happen to me or did it happen to others as well? I am in the Dallas Texas area using Time Warner and it's never dropped like that at all. In fact I've never experienced any kind of outage.

Is the one you are watching about Hanger 18. It is very good.

I think something did happen but I took it as part of the tape, I'm glad you said something. I checked and it is on again at midnight, oops! 11:00 your time.

Stuff there I haven't seen before. The heavy brow aren't the ones I go to but I have heard of them and they are supposed to be okay just a little more scary looking.

I think this is new information they are releasing at least I hope. Has anyone seen this one before.

The other smooth faced ones are the ones I am with.

Yuppers, that's the one.

It was very good, I really liked it. The documentary was really made very professionally and I feel dealt with the subject matter in a dignified way.

Oh well, I didn't think it would to ask about the blackout, Has it been established that it was just my end?

It did kind of made it all the more exciting, hehe!!

I watched it twice, and did'nt see any black out. I was however on the computer at both times so maybe I missed it.

No blackouts in RI. Probably nothing, but all too easy to wonder

Thank you for the response everyone, I really appreciate it.

Oh well, it didn't hurt to ask and hey it may have been something quite exciting happening.

But alas, it was just a most remarkable and coincidental situation where the first cable outage I've ever had was during the Hangar 18 special of the UFO Files.

As I said before, it certainly made the show that bit more exciting!!
