So what's a good Romanian AKM model? One with a metal under folding stock, I have had a hard time finding one.



Anyone's input would be much welcomed.

C'mon, someone has to know of at least one. What are they? SAR-1 SAR-3? I know the SAR's are good, but which is a AKM with a metal underfolding stock? And maby a 1.5mm recevier?

They are no good Romanians.

SAR-1 is the 7.62x39, SAR-2 is the 5.45mm, and SAR-3 is the 5.56mm.

The Polish underfolders are very good, but you just can't go wrong with an Arsenal - avoid the Romanian junk.

I know a lot of the Romanians are bad, but a few are GREAT for the price. The WASR-10 is very reliable. And I know the SAR-1 is one of the best Romanians.


Have you heard anything really bad about the SAR-1?
