The first thing that comes to mind is to get the younger generation weaned off technological relationships and virtual lifestyles and quit
supplicating them with toys and gizmos.
Only once they begin to focus on their real life experiences and begin to form true relationships with the people they come into contact with on a
daily basis will they have any idea on why it is so important to preserve their rights and freedoms.
The overwhelming spread of technology has driven people further and further apart, in particular in the youngsters of today.
It's hard to see how a teenager who speands counteless hours downloading music, bemoaning their boredom in chat rooms, doing nothing other than play
with webcams and video cameras with dreams of becoming a 'star" (or simply use the internet to insult people online) could have any sense of the
importance of their higher role in society, or the threats to their individual freedoms (if and when they should arise.)
