hello to all, I am a brand new ATS member but need your help!
I have read an account (and heard on Coast to Coast I think), of the basic following story and need some help to relocate it!

A few years back, an engineer type guy gets the opporunity (or order?) to try to figure out how an alien vessel works. He walks around the outside and then climbs into the vessel, all the while observing that the metal seems to be organoc like and changes temperature when he is near it?? Anyway, once inside the craft he sees fiber optic like materials as he apparently enters the propulsion area.
It is a fantastic story and really want to find out more on this if anybody has any info????? Sorry for the lengthy description, it has been a whule since I read the story and cannot seem to find it anywhere again.
By the way, it is supposed to be authentic of course and am not trying to get slammes here, just really want some help/advice??? Thanks heaps

Hmm, thats very interesting, I never heard that one on coast to coast, but what you must remember is that there are some weird people on coast to coast, you can never be sure if their story is true, but I would love to read more about this, do you have any idea of where you found it, it sounds interesting.

no not really, sorry I know it's way vague, just going on my memory right now! But, I remember going onto a website and reading about it, it was very detailed and the verbage was right on as far as engineering goes! I will try to remember the best I can and post any more info that I can retain! I appreciate your response though as I am trying to learn how to navigate this site! Thanks again!

I believe youre talking about Dan Burisch.

There are many threads about him and the opinions vary on the man, his story and his credibility.

I for one think he's a very good story teller other than that I think it's a little lean on credibility.

But here's a few ATS threads on him:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Again, pretty sure it's burisch you're talking about, don't think I'm wrong but someone correct me if I am.

Welcome to ATS, your tinfoil hat is in the mail.

thanks much for the help, I checked out your leads and unfortunately that is not it! This seems to be quite the query now. I will do my best to remember more details but I believe it was more recent than that. It was a very very detailed account of the inside of the craft.
Some more details: The engineer guy walked down into the craft and was surrounded by a fiber optic like matrix that was the propulsion device.
Thanks again for any and evrybody's help!

This also sounds a lot like David Adairs story. Here is a link with some 411 about him.

This link is a Nexus Magazine article did with him.

Edit for additional linkage....

This also sounds very much like "Bob Lazar".

Here are a bunch of ATS links on BOB:

Dang Lost Mind with the big save...nicely done

I totally forgot about Dave Adair until I clicked the nexus link...sometimes the crazy stories all just run together after a while.

David Adairs accounts and escapades on paper are (like SpiderJ says) much like a lot of the other accounts your read about. The one thing that got me really thinking about whether or not David Adair was the real deal was after hearing him being interviewed by C2C's Art Bell. That and the amount of history he includes about himself and his experiences. I was really impressed with his demeanor and brevity during the interview and came across to me as very palatable as far as a source goes. He didnt have that "elitest" tone you can get from those in the UFO arena. Just a very straight up kinda guy, IMO.

Yeah, I am actually sitting here reading the link that you posted and this is for sure the story! Don't really know why but he gets my attention as well! There are lots of whacked stories floating around but his is unique imo. Any idea what he is up to now, where he is, and so on?? Wonder what has happened with his work and such?
thanks again for the help, if you have any other thoughts, links, or ideas Lost, let me know, I am very interested! Peace

I've just listened to the David Adair, Art Bell Coast to Coast show in their archive.

David seems to speak credibly, but claims to have invented a Water-Mellon sized nuclear rocket engine that uses a magnetic bottle to control the plasma, and which derives electrical energy from the moving plasma.

That would be some accomplishment, and he claims to have done this in the 1970s.

This is hard for to accept without further information.

My understanding is that magnetic bottles capable of holding a nuclear plasma for a short duration have been built, but they are the size of a very large building.

And deriving useful power to do some work from the system has otherwise not been accomplished by other normal human beings, with the commonly known technology.

If it had been accomplished, no one would build or contemplate building new fission power reactors, which in fact are the type of nuclear reactor, human beings are currently capable of building, since with the sort of system Adair describes could be used for much more efficient, and significantly cleaner nuclear fusion systems.
