Except for being sent to Gitmo, all of the above has been done to me for going on 18 years now. Of course, I wasn't deemed an 'unlawful enemy combatant' until shortly after the Patriot Act was passed. All that peice of legal fiction did was legitimize what they had been doing for decades.

I agree. Even the courtrooms are as faith-based now as it was 200 years ago. There are judges today that deny the use of evidence. On to the real issue...

No one has lied, except in perhaps the most minute details, about 9/11. No one has lied at all about terrorism. Terrorism is very real and has been taking place since the dawn of humanity. We're seeing some of the worst terrorists since the Christian Crusaders at this point in history.

Being a practicing Wiccan, I believe that I am qalified to field this. Having read the Malleus Malificarum as well as many other works on the Witch hunts and those involved, and Witchcraft as it is so called in general I have to say that there are very few similarities between the then and the now of this topic.

Terrorist does not equal 17th century witch. 17th century witch does not equal terrorist. Not no way, not no how.

The witches of the 17th century were regular eveyday folks, just like all (well, some) of us, who were wrongly accused by a system that was nothing short of insane and much, MUCH different than the courts of today thank you very much both in practice and values. Terrorists on the other hand have been proven by actual, tangible facts, as well as their own gleeful confessions, to have committed atrocities all over the world including all the attacks on the World Trade Center.

There is no mystery here folks. None whatsoever. Nor is there any sort of logical correlation between the Witch Trials of 1692 and terrorism of today. Terrorists of today are hunted and pursued because of things they have really done. Very very bad things that they have done and are doing and gladly claim responsibility for. The Witches of Salem and all those before them who were killed and tortured and worse, were innocent people who fell victim to the madness of others.

That, resistor, is real persecution. You know nothing of it.

Perhaps the biggest problem facing the U.S. is the lack of any form of unbiased news media. Every major news network supports either the right or left. Once again! Look at how your name is written! Is it in all capital letters? Do you have a first & last name? OR a given & surname? Is your last name capitalized & your first name in normal English? Is your name written in all capitals or not at all?
There truly is a caste system in the West (just like modern India) & it is determined in the way your name is spelled!
All capital letters means DEBTOR SLAVE! (you are responsible for the nations debt!)
First name normal, last name capitalized means OFFICER!
Written in normal English with just the first letter capitalized on both names can mean First & last name(corporation) or given & surname(free).
Legal maxims are a big help into understanding the way the world & gov'ts work!

Spell casting is real! At one time the Catholic Church was noble and truly protected the people but now they have been taken over by evil Jesuits and we have all fallen back into serfdom!

That was pretty much my point earlier in the thread. Thanks for reiterating t. Although,I don't think that all people labeled "terrorists" are actually terrorists. I see no correlation between the present siege of terrorists and that which happened to so-called witches.

It's called Cointelpro2 or gang stalking and yes, some of us have been going through it. Yes we have been tortured in our homes, some poisoned but survived, so framed, etc.

You either know absolutely nothing where of you speak, or you are a liar. Poison need not be deadly. Destruction of property is the same thing as having it stolen or confiscated. I am VERY good at what I do. Whether you have ever heard of me or not is immaterial. In fact, I have to wonder why you would bring up never having heard of me since I never indicated that you should have. Bit of a give away there eh?

If you have the courage of your convictions, then find out for yourself by ticking off someone in a position of power. On second thought don't, you probably couldn't handle it.

The problem is that you have it switched. The terrorists are the hunt-ors (of the innocent!), not the hunt-ees. We are not witch hunting them... they are witch hunting us.

I believe that your identity as a Wiccan is honestly irrelevant to the term "witch hunt." You are a self-identified "witch." Identifying you as a "white witch" or a "good witch" isn't what we are talking about. The issue here is people hurting others, any others. Pure and simple. The practice actually has another buzzword today: Schadenfreude.

Whatever happened to the law that states one is innocent until proven guilty? What happened to the right to have a speedy trial?

If a Marine stationed at Gitmo murders someone, that Marine is then transferred to a base, usually to DC where they are court martialed yet they still get a trial. This is not the case of the so-called terrorists at Gitmo. How can anyone KNOW for certain that the prisoners of war held at Gitmo are truly guilty when they have yet to see the inside of a courthouse? Even illegal aliens (the rampant incursion of Mexicans crossing the US borders) that break the law here are given a trial before they are let go free to be deported or put in jail if found guilty until the end of the term where they are then deported.

If this farce of an administration truly believed in the law of this country then those at Gitmo would have long since been before a court where their innocence or guilt is proven and necessary action taken... But no, they are there to rot until they die. I just want to know how long it will take Bush or McBush (if McBush steals the election as Bush did) begin sending American citizens to Gitmo as a way to make them disappear. I cannot understand why there has not been an uprising among the American people and those worldwide allowing such a travesty.

If the prisoners at Gitmo are guilty, then sentence them but if they are not, it is long overdue to deport them. Furthermore, where does the rights and regulations of the Geneva Convention that states no prisoner of war shall be tortured or tormented?

Bush and his cronies are not following the law of the land. I am rather ashamed of the American citizens that do nothing but rather allow this torture to continue. This is NOT who we are as a nation. If I were one to believe in Christianity, I would have say that Bush fits the bill on all the information I've read in the past about the coming of the anti-christ. He has done more to further the spoils and death of war than anyone before him short of possibly LBJ.

I agre with your take on the way the government is fostering terrorism but I find fault in naming the government pagan witches. The Bush/Cheney administration and the cronies that follow them are evil.

Pagan witches or rather many that were named as pagan witches were generally nothing more than nonconformists to Christianity and more often than not these women, with the few men that were accused and murdered, were generally the equivalent of doctors only their medicine pre-dated the modern medicine as these people were highly knowledgeable when it came to using what was readily available from nature to use as medicines.

My second favorite aunt is an herbalist and often many refer to her as a "green witch." She taught me how to use herbs for medicinal purposes as well as cooking. Herbal medicine, like that of ancient forms of acupuncture works wonders if given a chance. I have systemic lupus erythematosis (the worst type of lupus) and Sjogren's disease. I use alternative medicine combined with modern medicine to treat these two diseases. I also visit an acupuncturist licensed and trained in American and Asian acupuncture. Anyone willing to let go of their preconceived notions regarding these types of medicinal treatments would realize that they do work. Granted, there is a need for modern medicine when dealing with fatal diseases but the combination of the two manages to keep me as painfree and symptomatically free as possible. I would not give up using both or rather all three methods for nothing in the world.

BTW, the use of herbs to treat illnesses is something that has come down through the generations longer than anyone can remember. It is something that gets passed from one generation to the next.

I feel that perhaps you are the most deluded of all.

I follow beliefs that run in correlation to paganism as well; however, I am smart enough to read what is going on today and learn more about how the lives of many innocent people are torn to shreds by this government for the sole reason that the administration (ie Cheney and the puppet Bush) do not want the American public sniffing around close enough to find the real truth.

If these two are not guilty, then why have the secret closed-door meetings with the head of Enron? Why do they hide various documentation and refuse to let even the head of congress gain access to it?

Lastly, can you send me a picture of the man or woman named Terrorist? We are fighting a so-called war on terrorism yet there is nobody with that name. As such, this leaves the Bush/Cheney mobsters full license to go after anyone they feel threatens the control they possess. Why else would these two make the statements that the president and vice-president are their own governmental branch and answer to nobody? What happened to the government of checks and balances to avoid devious behavior? What happened to freedom of speech? Why did this administration ever gain permission to spy on its own citizens? How can a secret meeting with an unknown judge give the authority to search, arrest, and seize a person and/or that person's family yet give the person NO recourse? This is a modern day witchhunt with evil at the helm.

All I can hope for is that when the elections roll around, The puppet Bush and his puppeteer Cheney are tossed out on their rears but not so far that the long arm of the real law cannot take them into custody where they should be tried on multiple counts of broken laws and laws against nature such as the torture of people who are innocent until proven guilty. These two need a fair trial where they will answer for the atrocities they put into place while in a stolen office and then the two of them should go before the world court for the crime of attacking a sovereign nation without provocation. It is my hope these two are found to be traitors of this country and that they are given the punishment that fits the crime without any chance of the next president allowing them a pardon. These two men have cost this country entirely too much.

Terrorism is not a person or country. It is a state of mind and as such, there is no way to literally declare a war on terrorism. It is like declaring war on the wind. It simply is not possible regardless of the lack of education on Bush's part. This man seriously needs to return to school, starting with kindergarten. Perhaps when the American people wake up and smell the poo-poo left by this administration they will send these two to jail. While there, they will have the opportunity to get an education without Bush's daddy paying off the instructors to simply pass his simple-minded son.

It is still beyond me how a man whose bankrupted every business he's had a part in was ever allowed in the White House where he took it a step further and bankrupted a nation. Jail for life is too good for him. He should receive a much stronger sentence; one that is permanent.
