Channel pickups from satellites

Heya... I didn't know where to post this, this section seemed to be the closest to what it's about:

Does anyone know of any satelittes that the government use that people can pick stuff up from with a digital reciever? Like the sky digital box (ok, I know it's crap for that job, but it's all I have).
Or even just any interesting channels.

In case I am talking in code to anyone... This is what I mean -
www.wildsat.com... and
www.wildsat.com...

Anyone got any more info on other channels you can pick up?
