Well, then the answers are not interchangable between sites, I'm guessing.

That's what I had to do to get your link to work on the .org site, I'm playing.

sorry,

what if it isn't WWI or II related? we were working on Venice and the period surrounding the crusades. what if we should be looking in that time frame?

I hate these games.

That's where I started out, but then started thinking, why add the German/Danish flavor, instead of just 'red herring' . (it IS red herring, correct?)

We did seem to keep to a loose chronology, last game.

yes, interesting backstory on German (General Staff) plan of surrender before homeland destruction, lay low and regroup.

Well, I guess I'm gonna go back to the general time frame we left off, and continue from there. As good a place as any , at this point.

In the war of 1447, Germany invaded Russia by strapping plague infested mice to Herrings and letting them loose on the russian border. This was known as "Uber Sild."

As a matter of fact, I made that entire story up, but I wanted to let you know I was still alive.

OK Guys weve been put through the ringer. This clue IS "the red herring".
Heres the total description of such.

In 1686, a gentleman's magazine described a good way to fool a hound and prolong a foxhunt: drag a dead cat across the trail to mask the fox's scent. If no cat was available drag a red herring, because a smoked and salted red herring's odor will also mask the fox's scent. Therefore, a fake clue deliberately exposed to deceive is called a "red herring." this is My guess.

As far as red herrings go anyhow. Gotta run See ya in da funny papers.

sheesh cut, I thought you'd left me to the likes of these clowns.

maxx, we know what a red herring is, what we need to figure out is which plan are they referring to in this specific instance.

I'm going with the threeamigoplottodestroyourminds.html
