sild is a herring. they're looking for a postwar distraction (red herring). the question is, which war? the uber implies germany but I would try all avenues at this point.

Perhaps it has to do with WWII, and Germany's defeat. Googling uber sild yeilds a lot of German language websites, and sild is a herring. I've been trying things related to Hitler's suicide.

Uber(Large) Sild(herring or Sardine) Phillippines known for their Mega Sardines. Could this be something along the lines of the Phillippines and WW2?
I thought of Marshal Plan, Macaruther plan, Pearl Harbor?
