Since i dont know how to post to ATSNN here ya go.

A Meth lab was raided and along with the usual drugs and cooking supplies, they found CLASSIFIED LOS ALAMOS MATERIALS.

The breach apparently was discovered when Los Alamos police recently conducted a methamphetamine raid on an area home. Inside the house, along with drug paraphernalia, police allegedly found classified materials apparently from the grounds of the Los Alamos Laboratory. How somebody involved in illegal drugs would also have access to classified materials from the nation's nuclear weapons facility is unknown but under investigation.

Source Story

Jeez they cant even guard our secrets in our labs, how the hell do we think they are gonna guard the american people.

Any old contractor can just walk out with Classified Materials whats next, lettin em walk out with nuclear material???

This is pretty bad news and it illustrates how the drug culture affects us all. Meth use is destroying families and communities all over the country and the cost to us in terms of taxes to put enough cops on the street to control the problem, to hire enough social workers and to fund the myriad services provided to the families so affected is staggering.

This, of course, is not the first Los Alamos scandal and not can be directly attributed to drug abuse, but drugs in the workplace, whether or not the workplace is as critical to national security as Los Alamos, is just another cost of a so-called victimless crime.

Due to the last set of scandals they were supposed to put the security up for bid, but guess who won...the same ones that were screwin up before.

From the same source

The Los Alamos Laboratory has been hit by multiple security and management scandals in recent years. Problems were so widespread that Congress forced the contract for management of the lab to go up for bid for the first time ever. However, after bidding, the contract was re-awarded to the same contractor: the University of California.

How does the security thats droppin the ball, get the chance to bid on the contract that is being taken away from them? Will the wonders of the corporate world never cease.

Crap just seen the submit news button up there ^^^ ...oh well too late now.

I was just writing up the same point you just posted when I lost it all.

I can't believe that UC is still running Los Alamos!

If this can be traced to Bill Richardson who was Secretary of Energy when the Wen Ho Lee thing was going on, then there might actually be a conspiracy here.
