Thresher was lost off the coast of New England during sea trials. Scorpion was lost in the N. Atlantic south of the Azores while on its way home from a mediterranean
deployment. The best evidence indicates it was the victim of a hot run in the torpedo room.
Thank you for reviewing the Navy cover stories with us Schaden.

They have put deep sea submersibles down the mariana trench & challenger deep iirc. Pretty sure i saw footage of mostly barren landscape. Not to say something isnt down there.
I'm sorry Mr. Lear, but my father served in the Navy and
had spoken highly of sailors in peace time and war and I
find it a little unfair to say that the acciudent didn't happen
as said without proof.
but a flippant remark about cover stories
when people died in the service of protecting one's country,
I think is insensitive.
I apologise if I've hurt your feelings, but I believe when it
comes to anything that involves deaths, we should tread with
respect.
I have a question that has roused me for awhile now. If you had anti-grav technology what would it do under the water? Would it allow your craft to operate underwater and break all the rules?
If so and it is plausible could you not make a base under the ocean or on the floor of the ocean using anti-grav or some similar technology as a shield?
