I just have to say that i cannot believe this guy...he gets busted with this page-email thing and he draggs the chuech into this..It is wrong that he was naked with a priest but that is not why he is a gay pervert, he blamed it alcohol first then the priest, just take responsability for your own crap geeez louiz

I agree. He is just another shining example of a politician that refuses to take personal responibility for his sick actions. To think, these are the people who are making our laws and running our country. Disgraceful

Foley's an adult and is responsible for his own actions, but the priest has admitted to "fondling," and that's a bit beyond the naked thing.

Foley has and will be held responsible for his actions, but the case does illustrate the far-reaching effects of child sexual abuse.

Great point Grady.

Makes you wonder how Foley managed to ignore it, being as he is seemingly, now using his previous experiences in his defence.

Foley hasn't exactly shown himself to be a man of strong character in this matter. I'm certainly not an apologist for him and believe that the actions against him are more than justified.

I'm not sure at this point that he has broken the law, but if he has, his own victimization should carry little, if any weight in his sentencing.
