This was a given since before the deal that this would have to happen, what with all the Copyrighted materials on the site and such. It will only be a
good thing if most of the Labels sign on. Already 5 biggies have inked deals(though it gives THEM control, rather then Google) and one of their
stipulations was that they wanted to know what and how their Intellectual Property is being used so they can decide what to do.
1. Infringment
2. Detection of Infringment
3a. Demand a cut of the Advertising revenue
3b. Watch and Wait
3c. Demand it be taken down
3d. Sue
4. Profit!
I personally think we'll be seeing more of option 3a and 3c in the early days. I have the feeling that this will turn out to be a good thing for most
people who use the site. I don't think this is another MySpace fiasco.
