question here

I cant beleive im posting here... But f*** it. Here it goes.... A couple of months back I was outside and it was about 7ish and the sun was setting. I looked up at the sky and there was this bright white light (pretty big)... It was going west to east... My question is was this a satilite? can you even see satilites that early? Just curious... I dont know where this belongs so if it needs to be moved knock yourself out.
