This can't be the next GTA....can it? I hope it's just another tech prototype like State of Emergency.

rockstargames.com...

Still looks pretty sweet.

Definatly not the next GTA. Its set in the 1940's in Los Angeles. Its a detective game where you solve murders... only on Playstation 3 for the moment

To me it looks like their take on a godfather style game, but rockstar generally make great games so this should be good...

I would like to see some gameplay clips, You could see what gta 4 might be like from this...

Red Dead Redemption must have opened a door for Rockstar:

1. Take a violent period in American history
2. make it an open ended shooter rpg with an intriguing action-filled plot
3. ?????
4. profit.

I loved Red Dead, i hope this game does well for them.

Fun Facts:

La Noire has been in production since before Red Dead.

La Noire isnt by rockstar it's published under rockstar's name. Team Bondi made this game.

Red Dead fan? Check out gta iv. Both are good games. But I hate the fact that people seem to like red dead over gta. It's the same thing. Different settings.

Yeah I just got this the other day and what a game it is.

I was under the impression it's a R* game produced by Team Bondi.
No matter, the city itself resembles a GTA city and it's beautiful to drive around. (High hopes for GTA 5 now).

Hasn't it been in production for like 7 years? I knew about and wanted it that whole time, like many others.

Is it an accurate representaion of LA back in the 40's or just closely similar?

I'm in homicide at the moment and when ever I see BD I don't thin it means Black Dahlia.
It's just a crude drawing to humiliate the victim B===D. LMFAO...

Don't buy it for your kids, even though there is parental control (yawn) it's too much of an adult game. Plus they'd miss all the naked dead chicks.

I thought it was larger and more beautiful than GTA. In LA Noire LA feels real. I showed it to my father and he flipped out. He was like "This is so weird." I was like "Yes sir"
