Scared of heights

I'm pretty scared of heights, and it is really annoying... I really want to go to edges and things like that, but my body is holding me back..

I get the usual dizzyness, shiwering legs and starts to sweat.

Has anyone any good suggestions on how to get rid of the phobia? I'm probably gonna end up doing a parachute-jump, which I've heard can remove it, since I really want to try it anyway..

that seems a little bit drastic to me lol... but it sure would probably take your phobia away... im not so scared as you are but whenever im up high, I immediatly look down and for some reason it just helps me :/

Thing is, I actually trie this already, and it only made it worse.. :/

I didnt go all the way thouh (Had more importants things to deal with in the same sessions), so maybe I should try it again...
