a trip to another dimension (similar stories?)

last night i had a pretty amazing experience....

i was asleep. dreaming and all that i'm sure though i don't remember my dream or anything. all i know is that at once it was as if i woke up. i was very aware of what was going on. i knew what was happening to me and i was not alone. i was with three others. now i'm not sure if this was an astral projection but i do know that it was not mere lucid dreaming. i know that i or some part of me (my etheric double perhaps) was in a paralell dimension. whether by mistake or by some divine purpose i don't know but i know that i was concious and it was not a "dream" by ordinary means. yes, my physical body was lying still in my bed but "i" was not in it.

so moving on...

i awake in a cornfield with two others and then a third appearred. two males, two females. the others seemed to be very afraid and a little disoriented. i wasn't afraid so much but just in wonder because i have read about such things occuring. now this was not an ordinary astral projection, of which i have had. you know... one in which you still remain within the earth plane of existence but in the astral realm, no... this was like being in another realm, another earth if you will because it was all very similar but yet different. we had somewhat physical bodies in a sense but as i said before i believe it was the etheric double as we appeared to be solid. i sensed familiarity with the others but did not recall knowing them in "waking" life. I remember the one girl (she had curly auburn hair. shoulder length) communicated to the group that she was afraid and something to the effect of "where are we?" we spoke telepathically. i responded that i was sure it was a paralell dimension and that i thought it was pretty amazing. she replied that she didn't want to see her other self. to which i replied "why not? i think that would be awesome." What we got wasn't our other selves but rather something very different. i should also note that as we sood there we were all sort of walking in circles around each other. as we did this i noticed that the field we were standing in was flattening. it was something like wheat and as we moved, it would flatten down in a perimeter that extended about 4 feet around us as if we were surrounded by some sort of force field. this would come in pretty handy soon. so we were all observing the world around us with no idea how we got there, where we were or how or even if we would get back. it was pretty intense. we were on top of a hill when i looked down over the valley i saw farms and barns not unlike our own. when i turned to look behind me i saw a grove of trees. the air was breezy. it was early autumn just as it is here now. i was looking around when i sensed another presence, an intimidating one. i turned around toward the trees and there stood a giant man looking like any other gruff heavyset man here but much much larger. he held in his hand a shovel and he was intent on harming us. he towered over us at roughly 9 feet tall and was very bulky. he wore overalls. almost as suddenly as he appeared so did another to my right. he wore 19 century dress. he looked like how one might imagine a mayor of that time period. i think he even had a pocket watch. he appeared to be in his late 50's. he seemed angry. we had obviously invaded thier territory and this seemed a familiar phenomenon to them. just as quickly as the second man appeared so did two others. both of these farmer types. they were all so huge. it was as if the first had alerted the others. i got that impression anyhow. they began prodding at us with their shovels, not using the blade side but the handle. however, they could not touch us. either that or they just wanted to scare us off the way one might try to firghten away a strange animal. we were not eauals for sure. the invisible field that i described earlier, which flattened the wheat seemed to protect us. it was at this point that i was very afraid and just about the time that i began to wonder what i might do, i woke up again, this time in my familiar earthly body - amazed, astounded and just excited as hell about what i just went through. there are planes of existence that we can only imagine until we see them for ourselves. it was something really spectacular and i hope i can see something like that again barring any phyical harm of course. wow.

i just want to say that this appears to be a warning that farmers or old folks are going to get angry if you or someone you know goes onto private property. I don't know if this makes sense to you?

do you really think it's that simple? i see it as an experience. it didn't occur to me that there could be any meaning attached to it, because for me, it wasn't a dream.

Yes I know how absolutely fantastic these other worldly experiences are and how real they are as well. I'm not doubting for an instant that it was anything short of miraculous. It's just that I analyze all things like this because usually there is a message attached as well, and in your case the message seemed urgent due to the anger of the big men and the fear of the woman. It seemed you were being warned about something and I imagined it was supposed to alert you to something in your earth life as well, seeing as the parallel worlds and our earth world are all interconnected in various ways and have things in common.

i have to say this because i can no longer hold it in, i believe that ghosts and wierd anomolies like demons/ anything wierd, are just beings from other dimensions, but, i also believe that there is life in the whole universe. its too big to not support life anywhere else.

you're probably right. this didn't happen for absolutely no reason. i'm a very analytical person as well. i'll have to consult my fiance on the meaning of this as well. she's pretty good at that. thanks for your input. it's just that the whole trespassing thing seems so unremarkable unless someone were to be killed.
maybe there's not a message within the experience but just the experience itself as a message. i don't know. i'm gonna have to think about that.
