Do you think the music created the thought of something potentially evil and your mind took over from there? I have experienced instances when that mindset almost got hold of my consciousness and I had to redirect my thoughts.

Thoughts are powerful, sometimes the most powerful of all things available to the human mind, and beliefs. Sometimes thoughts distort our reality and/or our perception of reality. Either scenario could be contributing to your dilemma. I have removed objects from my house that have given me bad vibes and music has sent me on a bad journey, and also on a good journey.

Personally, I wouldn't think an upside down cross in and of itself would be that ominous without your projecting your beliefs into fearing it's power. Did you fix the cross?

I fixed it by laying it flat.

It's through the ear drum. The blood flow in the inner ear can be heard with each contraction of the heart, due to the blood vessels being so near to the ear drum.

Try an anaerobic or aerobic activity to get your heart pumping quickly, and then cover your ears with your hands (not your wrist) or lay on your pillow and you will be able to hear your heart rate in a better manner.

In one of your last posts you stated that you got rid of it. If you got rid of it, how were you able to fix it by laying it flat?

I'm not saying you're making any of that up, just trying to clarify what you said.

To clarify, I had two object hanging from my four pegs on my shelf. The cross necklace (the one that stares backwards) was taking up the two middle pegs. The other object, the ten hail marry ring was also hanging on my peg but I realized that I hanged it pointing upside down like the female sign. So I took it off the peg and layed it flat. That theoretically could be the reason for why my cross necklace was staring backwards at me. Plus another evidence that leads to demonic manipulation (which sorry, I forgot to tell you dont think Im making it up here) is that it always faced backwards. You flip it so the holy grail is facing backwards where you think the cross part of it will face frontwards but instead it turns backwards again. Pretty freaky stuff.

So did you keep the objects, or get rid of them?

I got rid of the cross necklace and kept the hail marry ring.

Above you stated you fixed it by laying it on it's back. Just now you've stated that you got rid of it.

You've clearly contradicted yourself at this point. Which says to me that you're being a little less than truthful.

What's going on?

Ugh... Exactly how hard is it to tell the difference between a ten hail marry ring and a cross necklace? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm being specific enough.

They are two different things, when you asked me if I fixed the cross I thought you meant the 10 hail marry ring because you mentioned whatever you were talking about that it was upside down. Not to be offensive here.

I also see that you say you are a paranormal investigator so I'm fine with you asking these questions because you have every right to be skeptical just like I would be in your position.

These two things both happened in different time periods.

Object 1.) Cross Necklace or Necklace with a cross
Object 2.) Ten hail marry ring with the cross on it (hanging next to the Cross Necklace)

Day 1
(Object 1.) - There has been this cross necklace (or necklace with a cross) that has the holy grail where the chain to the cross and the necklace meet. This has been bugging me for a long time because somewhere down the line, somehow the cross with Jesus on it has turned backwards to always facing me on the other side of the cross part which was flat. This cross on the necklace always faces me flat when you hang it up even when it is flipped around so where holy grail would be backwards. So in the beggining of this thread I got rid of it. Now if you want me to take a picture of it maybe I can go find it. But its still away from my house.

-Night of Day 1- Room freezing far below normal temperatures

Day 2
(Object 2.) Later during this thread I realized my 10 hail marry ring was pointing down where the cross was upside down. I saw that and laid it flat so it can no longer be pointing upside down. It came to me to think that maybe I was the cause for it because crosses that are upside down mean they are insulting god demonically (from what I heard.)

Now I think that I have clearly stated even before what happened but the problem was that maybe some one elses conversation has confused some people.

Now to get things straight, I am not lying. If I were to lie, I would never lie about anything that has to do with God or Holyness. I am catholic and fully accepted into the church and I intend to keep myself on the path to heaven.

Also I have been on ATS for awhile and I do not want to risk my points. And usually ones who would lie like this would be ATS Freshman.

Now does that clarify it enough?

Wildcat,

There was nothing confusing about your posts. Don't sweat the small stuff

I would think if you were uncomfortable with the cross necklace in the room, getting rid of it was a wise thing to do. Your room should be a place of safety and comfort to you. A lot of scary things are harmless but the emotions they cause are not. You might want to consider other aspects of your environment like color and patterns. They can have a very real effect on you both physically and psychologically.

That bottle is something else. I've noticed when closed plastic bottles start to expand the bottoms of them tend to inflate slightly giving them a more rounded surface. Large vehicles and even cars traveling down the road cause the ground to vibrate. You may have noticed when a large heavily loaded truck goes by you actually notice this. Shelves by their nature would vibrate almost imperceptibly when cars go by. The bottoms of a Gatorade bottles are quite smooth. Over time I'm sure the bottle would slowly move. Since it sat overnight as it warmed to room temperature there was probably some condensation which lubricated the bottles bottom. Just a thought?

The reason I responded is an experience I had. I have this shelf in my Kitchen that smooth bottom bottles keep falling off of. (I know I ended a sentence with a preposition so shoot me) It took me two years to figure out what was going on. One day when I was standing next to it the refrigerator started up and I watched a bottle near the edge slowly turn and fall off the edge. It was the refrigerator motor making the shelf vibrate.
Some other things to consider would be heater motors, sump pumps etc..

The CD case? Is it possible that when you moved the bottle you brushed against the corner of a case causing it to move without you noticing. Again, just a thought?

The heartbeat pillow I've got to agree with other posters. I think we have all had that happen. You may find the material of the pillow had different properties than others you have. Like a different fabric cover?

Blaine, that was a very reassuring post for Wildcat.

Speaking of crosses, I have always wondered why people celebrate the crucifixtion and not the rebirth when it comes to Christ. I don't like seeing him hanging there and that Catholic cross with the bent and twisted body is hideous to me.

Was the message of Christ that of the sacrifice or was he showing us the way to ressurection? If it was ressurection then how do we access this teaching?

And another thing that might be freaky is that I have a rolly office chair which spins, and out of all the times I get off it, I come back and its facing me backwards. Why? I dont know. Also I tend to shut the door while I come back. It could be scary to some because they see those movies where they turn the chain and something is sitting on it that wasnt there before.

How old are you?

This seems like it may be some type of poltergeist. If you still have these objects, can you take pictures?

I believe you.

After all, i had a pillow with a heartbeat.

No kidding!

Sounds like you just have high blood pressure or something to me. If you have high blood pressure I hear you can feel your pulse in your eyelids, fingertips, etc.

I'm healthy and when I lay down on my back I can even feel my own heartbeat shaking my entire body. So I don't think it's anything special.

A lot of churches don't use the crucifix for that reason. I believe the idea is to remember the sacrifice He made on our behalf and to not forget the price He paid. I personally don't believe in the use of crosses or statues. I worry that it may be a form of idolatry.

21

The major player in all of this was the cross necklace. And sorry to say now after being occupied for most of my days and part of my nights with work this week, I forgot where I put it. I still have the ten Hail Marry ring and I will try to get some pictures for you.

Yeah I have been wondering if all of these things can be caused by a poltergeist too.
