I think it's an interesting question: so what would you do to fix Airbus?
I recipe would include:
1. Fix the A380, persuade Airlines to have a more common layout. Streamline the process move everything to Toulouse.
2. Simplify the A350 design. Go back to the original A350 scrap the A350 XWB for now. I will get a small market percent than the 787 but that seems
like its unstoppable now so I might do it with something cheaper. I could convince some Airlines to replace their A330 with these and it would
require a rather small investment.
3. Move the A320 line to Hamburg and devote my resources to build a Composite replacement for the A320, perhaps make a joint venture with someone with
lots of composites materials experience (such a Lockheed Martin).
4. Sell at least half of the small factories but hire them as suppliers.
