But what is the solution? That they should be kicked out all together? OR that the process by which a state comes into being should be ignored, and they should be forced into being a state???

I think the solution should be to treat them with the same rights as any other American. Such as a decent public education where they are tought their rights. Child labor laws that protect children from forced labor, and employment in the sex industry. It's not much to ask for really.

Why should the US spend its tax money to increase the public education of places that can't be bothered to even find out if they should become a state?

I'd say its a heckuva lot to ask that the federal government force laws on a people that it has no authority over.
