ATS made and ran by the Government??

Is it possible that ATS is made and ran by the Government so they know what we think about all the conspirasies?? And all the world issues.....I guess it would be helpfull to them...like a free Survey by thousands of ppl.

Im mnot saying ATS is ran by the gov....but what if they are!! Deny Ignorance!! sound like a Title a Government Dude came up with it....lol Im just bored and had to bring this up. Im perrty sure ATS is cool, and ran independently....or are they??

See...dont you think this website would be very useful for the Govermnet. Think about it.

They can see what the people want to belive, because poeple on this site make good theries wich are belivable and could be used on the media as a good excuse.. not everything is true on this web site. It basicly a big survey on what we belive in, and what we think about all the most contreversial topics in the world.

But then again. Its probably ran my curiouse ppl just like us who want know things...

Yeah, and evrybody who posts an anti-government thread on this site gets traced and their house phones are bugged, and then the CIA sends agents to monitor them wherever they go. And it gets better - the CIA puts them on their "terrorist list" so that when the next big terrorist attack takes place, they will send agents to round up each and every ATS member they can, for we are the start of an anti government movement and theres no way that Bush would let that happen.

ATS might even be considered a greater threat than Al-Qaeda,

Next thing you know the three amigos will be wearing balaclavas and making video tapes and sending them to the government and news networks saying we know that Roswell happened; we know 911 was an inside job; we know there are soul collecting towers on the moon and you communicate with people on other planets in our solar system, and we know ATS is a secret government survey program.

i dont think its a laughing matter really. Must be plenty of "sponsored" activists here, and why not, its a melting pot for conspiracy theorists (truth seekers would be a better word) and a nice spot to send your debunkers to do your dirty work.

Like I said this could be a free survey from us to the GOV. How else would they found out what we think about these topics that ppl dont usualy talk about in the public or media.

Ahh, I had to have a think but now I see this thread for what it is; a Gov ploy to move in on ATS and replace all members with spooks and anything touching on the truth with 'sweeteners' sugar coating the slowly, slowly encroachment of Big Brother society where Soylent Green becomes realised as the prophetic vision of the future that it was always meant to be. A code offered publicly for all of those in the 'inner circle' wherever they may be in the world to read and act upon while cunningly disguised as mere entertainment.

A sneaky move, but your plan lies in naked tatters Mr. Sweetener, sorry, denomanis or perhaps backwards sinamoned! Yes Mr. Cinnamon you have been compromised.

Why "crow at" ATS's guardians??? Slim huntin'? Bored eh... Could be worse eh? How about no ATS? Who'd you yell at then? Bosnians? Serbs? The EU? Postal workers? Perhaps a little positive contribution beyond your posts-three would serve to alleviate your dis-possessedness of purpose and idled-mind.

Better to build an inukshuk and show the way for those yet to come rather than knock one over - then travelers know not the way. There is a "complain" button. Next time down-shift twice bring the revs-up to the meat of the power band, don't float a valve and think about it, then think again - if ATS were "them" wouldn't you want to be here anyway?

I watched a video on youtube that has a guy who is swearing that all of the computer IP addresses are out of Langley Virginia and that all of the people who run the website all have IP addresses in that area if anybody even cares about this and would like to see the video it's from the hacker group called anonymous and it is on YouTube I myself do not know how to look this stuff up or check it myself so if anybody has the ability to check it that would be nice to know because I really enjoyed this website until that seed got planted in my head now everything I read on here I wonder if it has then put there for nefarious reasons because I really want to know what's going on around me ever since I have become a father I care about what the future holds when before having a child I didn't care and if I could find a Forum website that is more legit and doesn't have so much questions swirling around it as to who runs it and who is making decisions if anybody knows of any forums that would be better suited for what I'm looking for please let me know

Ran by the government? No. Monitored. Probably. But no more so than any other social media outlet.

The disgruntled former ATS member who made that video copied and pasted material from our 2004 April Fools prank (yes, when the site was smaller we'd have pranks on Halloween and April Fools). Sadly he did not realize that the prank was designed to be easily spotted for the fun of all of our members and therefore the "IP addresses" used as "evidence" are not only not owned by the CIA they're actually not even IP addresses at all. The numbers listed are not properly formatted IP addresses and that was kinda the point... Member clicks crazy looking thread, sees something is slightly off, facepalms and realizes oh it's those ATS goofs with another prank.

As we grew we realized too many people took those pranks seriously so we have not done them in many years. I find that sad because I always enjoyed them, but as you can see from that sadly put together video, this is why we can't have fun things.

Hope that clarifies things.
