GOP sliding in the wake of Foley fallout... expect new attack?

The liberals were sitting on the Foley scandal for quite some time, but waited to strategically drop the bomb on the GOP just weeks before the US elections.

As a result, the GOP has taken a serious blow with little time to rebound.

What can the GOP do to counter-act this to avoid losing the house?

Wouldn't it be a strange coincident if there is a "terrorist" attack in the coming weeks leading up to the US elections?
