Hi All,
I'm hoping someone can help me out with this. I need to make some animated gif avatars for a friend of mine.
I know how to create them (animation factory) that part is fine, what I can't get, is how to make them display at normal speed.
By that I mean if I say make a Gif with a few frames from a movie, once it is uploaded it just seems to run really really slow and I don't know how to get around it.

Anyone know how this is done?

Thanks in Advance.
MH

Can you post the .gif file? [photobucket, imageshack, etc.]

I'm sure you'll find Many who are happy to offer assistance, myself included.

Have you tried adjusting the "frame-rate"?

I deleted what I was doing in frustration to be honest, I'll make it up again later on today and see what you or anyone else thinks.

Yep I did try to adjust the frame-rate but it didn't seem to make any difference.

Thanks.

I use Gif-Animator and on that one has to adjust the rate on EACH and every frame.

It is completely customizable but kind of work intensive..

I just use photoshop and imageready to create gifs. Is that wrong?

I use imageready too. I think it's a handier tool for use with photoshop than a lot of .gif creators. For example, I can create a series of completely original pieces in photoshop, then edit them frame by frame in imageready.

that's how I did the famous flying humanoid pic

Raso,

I use IR as well, but for most that don't want to devote the time, it has a HUGE learning curve to get up and running..
