Saddam's Bunkers

Whatever happened to the underground bunkers and tunnels built by the
Belgians (?) in Iraq. There was supposedly a bunker under the lakes at Saddams palace and a system of tunnels running completely under Bagdahd. I have only seen video of 1 tunnel at the airport there. Was this another of the "wmd" stories we were told?

These articles are all interesting. What I am talking about was the bunkers that were supposedly under the lake at one of his palaces(housing wmd) and the "fact" that Baghdad was riddled with tunnels. These things were told to the american public and it seems that they were all lies!

Not lies... "exaggerations".

BTW, same deal goes for the alledged "massive mountain strongholds" of the Taliban. The closest thing they've found to a mountain bunker in Af was a cave with door on it.
