Maybe you can understand a little better now that there are also many different realities ..... we just aren't open enough to understand/accept them.

not all of us are not open.

We as a civilization have as much understanding of our place in the universe as a flea on a dog has an understanding of the earth. Does a flea serve a purpose? no it just exsists, its just a useless parasite.

Mankind likes to think of itself as something greater then what it is. What if there is no purpose for mankind? What if we are to a planet what a flea is to a dog? I belive there is alot of life in the universe and mankinds role isnt as important as it wants to belive.

Mankind not to long ago belived that the earth was flat and if you sailed across the ocean you'd fall of the earth. 1500 years before that they wrote the bible but yet people still belive in it today.

the idealogy of mandkind might not be important since it's mostly created by us but your existence it self is more important then you would think, forget everything you were told outward and look inward.

This film should be mandatory viewing for all mankind. ( minus techno boy )

We might be kinda special in some way, but there's no way we or any particular
group on this planet is "chosen".

If anything this video is proof of there being no Alien life at all we can see so many billion light years and theres no signs of any civilizations. Of course there could be some life out there that hasnt evolved intelligence but the distances are to mind blowingly huge for us to ever know by the time we got to them the star would be gone.

All in all evidence for no Aliens ever visiting earth ever and they never will.

At the moment, I'm wondering how much of our human history is being destroyed beneath the sands
of Iraq.

I need to understand something here, and maybe someone here can explain this to me. The universe is 15-20 Billion years old according to our scientists. The universe is also 78 Billion lightyears across. Everything supposedly started from the Big Bang. If nothing, except light, can go as fast as light, why is the universe spread out so large?

Basically what I'm saying is, when the big bang happened, poof.. there was everything, which would have traveled in all directions. Given that we buy into Einsteins theory, and that any object that approaches the speed of light, its mass approaches infinity, how is it then that the universe spans 78 billion light years? Given the two fastest objects, let's even say they went the speed of light and had continued at that speed from the time of the explosion in exact opposite directions, to now, shouldn't those two objects should only be a MAXIMUM of 30-40 billion lightyears away from eachother?

I HAVE to be thinking about this incorrectly... It's either that or they all admitted they were wrong without even knowing it...

[removed unnecessary quote of entire previous post]

the concept of science is altering our perception of reality, things are not what they seem under the circumstances of science.

Great video but if you want something even more mind bending check out the opening shot from the movie Contact. It's CGI but it's one shot slowly pulling away from the Earth to show the known Universe, it's unbelievable!

Here it is off youtube, the quality ain't the best but it'll do until you pick up the DVD

Now that was kewl!!

Creative art like that really puts the perspective on outer and inner space!! is it all the same thing? Vastness within outerspace, and the same vastness from within each life form in the universe
