Ouch!! I wonder if that will even put a dent in in Citgo's bottom line. My guess would be yes. Around here there are 7-11's everywhere. Good for 7-11.

Read that artical a little more carefully.

7-11 has been planning to make the move to it's own brand of Gas since last year.

They are using politics as a marketing tool to sell more gas.
They are manipulating you and making it look like a political statement.

Wake up.

Thanks BitRaiser,
YOu saaved me a cit of typing there. Alot of us are too easily fueled and therefore fooled by headlines. Besides, CITGO still has the gas and when ya' have the gas, there follows the bucks - 7-11 or not...

I dont care what the reason is. I'm glad they are stopping.

Well, I could care less otherwise, there are next to no 7-11s within
ten miles of where I live.

If they had been doing this just because of President Chavez's,
than I'd highly dissaprove.

Thats a shame. The 7-11 has always been the cheaper of all the local gas stations here. Its always a bad thing to make the competitive field smaller. It leaves us very open to price gouging. Doesn't affect me anyways. I stopped driving well over a year ago whn gas prices started to go up at first. Im not going to support these oil barons.
