Help (Sound Cards)

hi, just wondering if anyone can help me, ive just installed windows2000 from 98.

and need a sound card for:-

(trident 4d wave nx)

does anyone know where i can download this for windows2000? ive been searching for HOURS on google but with no luck :shk: just many form filling in sites with nothing at the end.

would appreciate if someone knows where i can get this driver for win2000, thanks for your help

This site seems to have a drive, but you do seem to be required to sign up first, I will look for others.

Here is a site that appears to have the driver you want/need, BUT!!!, it appears to be in German(not sure)

Another possibility to try if all else fails is do a windows update. Oftern it finds hardwear drivers, but they are usually dated. Since you issue is any driver, it may be worth a try.

BTW, Steve, we have a computer section in bts called (Computers & Internet) with the section (Computer Help) and that would be a very good place to put posts like this and look for answers.

hi thanks for that m8,

but non of the sites give me a link where i can install it straight from my computer

but i found a little file 'nx2knew.zip' (only 40KB in size) in one of your links.

so what i'm think about doing is saving that file to floppydisk and re-stalling windows again, when it asks me when install to provide a driver for the sound i'll just put that in, see what happens

i'll do it tomorrows because its WELLL late here, i'll check back on here though beforehand to see if anybody else knows anything...it doesn't matter about you checking again mate (you've done enough)

i know how head-doing it can be from all the searching i was doing earlier lol.
