Self replicating nano-robots, that do nothing until you body chemistry changes due to several factors ranging from bodily intake of certain chemicals ( like various E letter food and drink additives ) to hormonal variations like entering puberty. Other potential chemical triggers would be contracting a decease, getting pregnant. Various additional triggers could include anything radio waves, radiation etc.

I'd imagine companies like like coca-cola would jump at this in a heartbeat. Just imagine a couple of billion small robots eating your vital organs unless you drank coca-cola twice a day.

Small, cheep, virtually undetectable and extremely efficient. A prefect weapon.

I'm a sick one, ain't I?

Kind regards.

In my humble opinion, the two most effective weapon systems recently deployed have been the Predator and the JDAM.

As for future developments, I'm really intrigued by the vtol JHL aircraft combined with seabasing. It would allow rapid deployment capabilities for the Army and Marine Corps that they have dreamed about for decades. Plus it would be a powerful political weapon, since we would no longer have to bribe foreign governments to allow us to keep a base in their country. We can just park it a 100 miles off their shore and tell them to kiss our @ss.

i like the rail gun idea but a hand held rail pistol

i forgett the measurment but their would be to many capacitors needed to make it into a hand held version. so hence "future weapon" but the magazine would hold 10-12 rounds being a small metal piece in the magazine behind each round would be enough power to shoot the round and then deplete

so an over view wouuld be each round in the magazine has enough power to shoot the rounds in the magazine. like a green gas airsoft gun

I think we'll see a weapon that can selectively change the density of the atmosphere in a selected area. An aircraft flying into one of these dense areas would behave as if it ran into a brick wall.

Hey...as i heard about all these new futuristic weapon are coming out and all...How come they never made a "Ice Bomb" ???

Meaning i seen this chemical where it liquid and once it get pour out the bowl it turn straight into ice right away...i know it might sound stupid but hey..it doesn't hurt to brain storm a bit... like u know how our country fighting iraq and idk who else cuz i don't watch that much tv...well how many plane have gotten shot down?? way to many..If they can !this so call "Ice bombs" it can change percentage of the us air force..losing planes and people lives....think about it...They got air guided missle to take our plane down...but they can't do it if that # got bombed with thick ice covering up the whole thing..my point..things that are frozen are useless, it takes time for them to defost it..n by the time they try to do so, we got time for them to fly in and take those weapons out!!

1.Make the future bomb out of some strong plastic material
2.have a few high altitude flying airplanes
3.Locate and Ice bomb any of those grounded air plane guided missles
4.Send out a few F16 fighter jets to take them out
5.Return back to base safe and sound
6.have some chinese food.
thats it...probably sounds alot easier said than done..but hey..who knows maybe it might work...just gotta put it to the test and see how it goes

What about an EMP Smart bomb to disable pretty much every electronic device in the blast.

mankinds worsed weapon of all is the one that mankind is making right now. Yes , man is making the weapon that will ultimately destroy mankind itself. it is in front of your face right now and you yourself don't even know it. only a few small portion of people know what it is. when i tell you later, you will agree and it will sent a chill down your spine. you see it on a daily basis and it is all around you in plain sight. no one of you will ever guess what it is. right now it is reaking havok with your body as i write this. this is true, and when i tell you, you will understand fully.

Anti-stealth missile tech.

It's really very simple, stealth vehicles are mostly just invisible to radar, not human vision though. You want to take down a B2 with relative ease?

-Receive visual confirmation from recon.
-Launch a surface to air missile that can be controlled like a drone from the ground.
-Guide missile towards incoming sky anomoly (contrails/etc)
-Meet target as close as possible and engage proximity detonation

Seems pretty logical to me. If Hezballah can use this tactic to take out IDF ships then with a little more work it can be used against arial targets aswell if this tech does not already exist.

You can probably cripple an army by dumping loads of porn over their heads to distract them.

I think microbots are the doomsday weapon of the future. Swarms of insect-like microbots injecting poison or blowing up it's victims. I could imagine them burrowing through bunkers and targeting unwanted leaders.

Maybe a whole bunch of them could eat infrastructure and devour their victims as a power source. Of course we'd have to make them autonomous and then hook them up to skynet......

This may sound a bit silly but here me out .This concerns tank warfare assuming tanks will be used in future wars .The other day i was driving a radio control scale leopard tank about 1/16.I drove over a sock on the ground and found that it wrapped around the tracks jamming them,Now if this is was scaled up im sure you could lay giant socks around the battlefield .Cheap to produce ,cheaper and easier to deploy than traditional tank traps and would surprise the hell out of enemies!might slow them enough to take them out with the giant laser guided shoe lace rocket which wraps arou...!

If there were enough radioactive elements in a planets core you might be able to set off a fission reaction that could destroy the planet

Well.. The ideas I have are pretty far fetched but maybe they will work..

1.) What if you could make an ICBM that did not carry a nuclear warhead but instead carried an energy weapon that did not cause collateral damage to city's but to the people that live there instead. When the warhead detonates it emits an electrical frequency that disrupts the electrical impulses in the human body causing instantaneous cardiac arrest. The country that develops this weapon could just come in to a city like Washington D.C. without firing a shot and be able to utilize the unaffected resources. Just think about it. A weapon that lets you paralyze or eliminate a whole city's inhabitants but leaves everything intact so you can move in and occupy.

You can use one missile and set the range for example 5 square miles up to 100 square miles leaving no fallout or a dead zone.

2.) This is not a weapon but it could be the key to exploring the deepest parts of the worlds oceans.

The reason that we cannot dive deep is because of pressure and trying to make something that will not get crushed is the hardest part. However lets take a page from the German scientists of WWII who were experimenting with a mercury to levitate bell shaped ships.. Using mercury would be the key because of it's properties. A large enough diving craft that holds scientists and their equipment could be constructed lets say a sphere 30 feet in diameter. If you build in channels the size of a dime that surround the outside of the sphere that direct the mercury and then electrify it. Causing the mercury to circulate around the craft at high rates of speed builds a magnetic field. As the sphere enters the water and starts it's decent the magnetic field moves the water around the sphere keeping the crushing pressure away. Using carbon fiber and lexon to insulate the inside from the magnetic s on the outside the scientists will not have to worry about frying their computers or any other electrical equipment.

Imagine the possibilities and discoveries that could be made by being able to dive to the deepest regions of the worlds ocean's.

Well that's it for now...

an auto guided anti nuke missile it would be fired upon detection of a nuke and when reaching close proximity to the nuke it would implode into a minature black hole causing the nuke to be sucked in and go to god knows where but the black hole wouldnt be big enough to grow. so shortly after it would dissapate.

Some interesting ideas on here. I would add to the mix:

1. A racially targeted airborne virus with a very long incubation period and extreme mortality rate. Its is the ultimate conclusion to humanities ethnic murder tendencies. (This prospect scares me more than any ray gun).
2. Pure fusion weapons. (a hydrogen bomb without the need for hard to obtain fissile material to start the initial fission reaction).
3. Some form of gravity manipulation weapon. If you can distort the effect of gravity to localised parts of a structure you can stress it in unexpected ways and cause it to collapse without leaving any evidence other than stress fractures.

I think tesla would of had a field day in this thread.

The main idea i liked of his, was that he said you could crack the earth or planet in two, and i am sure you can, lol. Just imagine that, and i am sure they have looked at that.

Here is another one for you guys.

How about picking a radiation for mobile phones and wifi that makes people all over the world, just soft in there mind. I think this is what the mobile phone has doen to humans, and i think it was done on purpose. People have gone soft in there mind, and i think mainly its a result of radiation from mobiles, and things like wifi.
I think this was done on purpose, and we are seeing today that humans are just becoming morons and especially in west, where these techs exist most. I think they picked a radiation in mobiles that did this on purpose.

But i sure do like how tesla thought, and energy weapons are certainly a way of the future, you can see that mobile phones could be a mass weapon, lol, like i explained above, and none of you even caught onto it.

The ultimate weapon is time travel both ways, as that would manipulate reality like nothing else, and what are we if not just reality based forms of life. Time travel both ways would be the absolute weapon of choice.

I think the future of our weapons is in space technology. Personally the weapon I would design would be a multipurpose spacial weapons platform. This platform would incorporate the use of a solid steel construction and multidirectional thrusters. As for weapons capabilities it would fire depleted uranium rods fashioned together into one solid slug and encased in a tugsten/titanium alloy shell and would be fired using either a mass driver or a rail gun, whichever is more reliable.

The problem with your theory is that humans are an adaptive and hardy species. The human mind as well as their body would eventually develop a tolerance to the radiation. besides a wireless device would not put out enough radiation to cause any significant damage. I understand what you are trying to imply but it would take decades to develop the symptoms you hope to achieve.
