Valuable information on potassium iodide

It looks like now we're on the crest of a new nuclear scare. Potential nuke attacks in seven cities from al qaeda using low-yield Russian arms.

At least that's the latest theory.

In any event, Muslims in NY and D.C. have been ordered by AQ in Afghanistan to flee now or forever hold their peace.

In the wake of these reports, I've seen some info on border infiltrators being found with potassium iodide pills on them, presummably to protect them from nuclear radiation.

The FDA has a great page on the benefits of KI and its limits. I'd encourage everyone here to read this.
