Could the legendary Ahmed Shah Masood prevented 9/11?

He warned us, and we didn't take him seriously enough, not to the point of going to war before 9/11. And the assassination of Massoud two days before 9/11 confirms and still supports the conclusion of Al Qaeda's attack on America and not by the govt. However, people would say that even if the U.S. govt. didn't do it, they still used the event to promote their agenda, so thats something I would include.

How does his assasination confirm Al Qaedas involvement in 9/11? He was at war with the Taliban long before that.

And he wasnt the only one warning us about impending disaster. We got warnings from the Russians, British, Germans, Israelis, and French, some pretty specific, before the attacks.

Yet more confirmation that the government's claim that "they were caught totally unaware" and "never thought this would happen" are absolute BS.

Well, we can tell for the fact that two Arab "reporters" committed suicide by way of explosives in the camera. Now at the time, Al Qaeda and the Taliban were Masoods enemies, so it makes you wonder if the arrow points to Al Qaeda (since they use that tactics in the country at the time). It sure wasn't Hezbollah since they busy with Israel, unless they hate Masood (but theres nothing related to between him and them).

But how does this prove Al-Qaeda was involved in 9/11? Im not questioning whether or not the Taliban killed him.

I simply want to know how this proves their 9/11 involvement? Assasinating a rival is nothing unusual or out of the norm over there.

Masood is an ally of the U.S. (well was an ally), and since Osama wanted him out of the picture just before the 9/11 attacks, since based on the interrogations by the CIA on Al Qaeda top members who admitted killing him. After all, Masood was the most formidable enemy of Al Qaeda and the Taliban, and since Osama and his followers knew that the U.S. would retaliate, why not kill the most capable ally and commander of the Northern Alliance before the attacks, and they succeeded which is two days before 9/11? But then the assasination of Masood didnt destroy the Northern Alliance, when the U.S. immediately came to their aid, as well as America's own interest to destroy the Taliban and their ally Al Qaeda. After all why not commit terrorist attacks on 9/11 to some other date before his assasination, or maybe months after his assasination, this one was 2 days after his death. How long does it take to communicate the cells in the U.S. to execute the plan? It can't just be one hour after his death because he don't use satellite phone anymore, fear of being tracked, so he used a messenger which would relate the message to the person using the internet or phone to communicate Al Qaeda members. Which later on wait for the next morning day which would be 9/11 to execute the attack. It could have been 9/10, but then Osama has to be sure the Masood was dead, and not to mention somebody has to inform Osama Bin Laden that he is dead, which would take time. Osama can't know that Masood is dead in few seconds after the suicide attack.
