i live in derby and i have noticed the frequency of fast jets flying over has literally increased tenfold. does anyone know if there is an excersise going on or something?

lol mostly raf but a few were f-15's which i'm assuming are from lakenheath

Same here around the Selby (York) area too. I have noticed quite a marked increase in military jets of late. And a fair few chinooks too.

hey just back, yeah chinooks had passed twice in the one week a few weeks ago (In my area you never see them EVER) now its just black and yellow helicopters (one startd to freek me out as it was ryt above my house then went to the sides and sat their for a while, thing is though i believe the guy across from my yard is growing ganja in his loft so thats prob got sumin to do with it:LOL
that are around frequently (though i believe they are "commercial" or "POLICE) Ive also been hearing the noise of very fast aircraft passing during the day and night quite alot.
they make some noise chinooks dont they I SEEN them a few weeks ago 1st time their was 1 2nd their was 2, and I believe that they have came by recently aswell as you can just tell from the noise.
