I don't know if this deserves a thread of it's own ... but I'll go ahead an post it as such.
Steve Irwin's family has been offered a state funeral. It hasn't been decided if that's what he will receive. But the offer is there.
I'm sure it will be televised and I certainly hope that the family will announce an internet site (and/or snail mail address) for memorial donations
to be made so that Steve Irwins conservation work may continue.
Have just seen a press conference with Bob Irwin, Steve's father who doesnt feel that they will accept a state funeral though he did say that the
family would allow Terri to make the final decision.
There has been a massive increase in donations to various charities set up by Steve, so some good comes from tragedy.
