Can I change the CPU water block on a pre-fab kit?

I want Zalman's new Reservator 2 for this pc mod that I am making.

But it's CPU water block isn't made for my AM2.

Can I just buy the appropriate water block for my CPU and switch them? Or, is it a bad idea to add different, third party, parts to an existing watercooling kit?
