dnero6911, I get an error message when I try this link. Could you possibly supply the name of the author and/or titles? I am most interested!

Doh, I apologize.. my amazing typing techniques... I misspelt it..

www.geocities.com...

geocities, not geoities. lol

But they are books by Carlos Castaneda... and if you haven't read all of them I would suggest it because they all explain so much, its a wonder more people aren't into it.

I definately believe that we're in the end times since we have a Christian Fundamentalist leader vs. a Muslim Fundamentalist leader - both extremely powerful, both set in their convictions, both extremely motivated to see the world changed to meet their beliefs and agendas - to rule the world. Time and again throughout known history, religion has been the most deadly tool used to advance personal agendas. Simply put, you cannot deal with or negotiate with an individual who believes that they're doing God's work.

an extreme "leader" on both sides of the fence.neither are in control of anything.the pyramid system of the people in real control we will never see.THEY know what jesus christ knew(WHO LIVES FOR EVER AND EVER AMEN) and that knowing is what keeps THEM on top of this game.ALL IN THE PYRAMID THINK THEY ARE UNTOUCHABLE AND HAVE GREAT VALUE..........ECT.THAT'S WHAT HOLDS UP THE DECEPTION AND KEEPS IT RUNNING PERFECTLY.IT'S WHAT KEEPS BUSH GOING AND ALL THESE "LEADERS" GOING.FULL FORCE.DECEPTION.I COULD EASILY SEE BUSH JR. ELIMINATED WITH THE GO AHEAD FROM DADDY BUSH.....FOR WHATEVER COMING REASON, FOR THE ADVANCE OF THE SATANIC SYSTEM,NWO, THAT MUST TAKE PLACE AS JOHN FROM REVELATIONS TALKS ABOUT.when everything comes down you won't even have time enough to blink.let alone think your going to escape anywhere and do anything about it.YOUR EITHER READY COMPLETELY WITHIN OR YOU ARE NOT.PERIOD.PEACE

Negative. He isn't a Christian because he denies the divinity of Jesus Christ. He is a child of the evil one.

2 Peter 3:8 says...But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. and according to the bible...it has been 7 thousand years since the creation of man (not the earth)..so that would make us be living in the last day...so people were right for hundreds of years...we have been living in the last days and we are finally in the last day.

In the 60's people thought the Cold war would be the end of the world. That didn't make it so

I have read a lot on this topic, and concluded that the ancients are likely not all completely offbase. I have read too many accurate descriptions of this present time in too many diverse ancient accounts. When Dec. 21, 2012 comes around, I will know if I am wrong or not, because if I am right, there will already have been a major shift happen. What exactly will occur, I don't feel sure, just that it will be big, and a lot of folks won't like it.

People need to stop being so worked up over everything. Is the world changing? Yes. Is it ending? Hardly.

You need to realize that modern times are much scarier than 30 years ago for two simple reasons. The advent of the 24 hour Cable news channels and the rise of extremist religion (both Christian and Islamic).

It amazes me that people think the world is so bad that me must be in the end times. The world is changing, and at times, I will admit that can be a scary, horrifying concept. The Tsunamis and war, and kids with guns, and on and on and on... all of it scares the hell out of me as well. But this is not the end times.
The world is not near as bad as the media makes it look. It might not be great, but its far from Apocolyptic bad. The only reason we think its getting worse is because we hear more about it, we're bombarded with it.

To those of you who say that you have a feeling, my question to you is, are you the same people who said that you had a feeling about August 22nd? I know a few of you are.

Second, to the people quoting the Bible, not to start a religious debate here or anything... But you guys do realize that the book of Revelations was not ment to be read literally don't you?

You people are also aware that the Rapture was a concept created by a German priest in the mid 1800s... that there is no evidence for such an event anywhere in the Scriptures - either official or aporphatic - dont you?

I think it would be rather obtuse of me to tell other people how to live their lives. If you think Jesus is going to come and sweep up all the believers, good for you. If you think the Mayan calender is going to bring doom to the people of the planet, good for you, go load up on powerbars while they're still fairly inexpensive.

I just sincerely hope that people remember to live their lives. Dont get so caught up in apocolyptic fear that you forget to kiss your kids goodnight or get drunk with your best friends; because if the world is going to end, why not enjoy the rest of life?

Also, I hope that people dont simply support a narrow fatalistic view of the apocolypse. Just because you think the world is ending, dont turn a blind eye to the genocide in Darfur, or the starving in Somolia.

Life is about living people. Instead of discussing whether or not the world is ending, lets get out there and live our lives. If Im wrong and the world does end, I want to be playing soccer with my friends when it happens, not sitting on some lame messageboard arguing with people about scriptures and the end times.

My views are the product of all that I have seen, done, and read. I don't know what Aug. 22 was about, never heard of it. I laughed at the Y2K frenzy. And I see the Bible/Revelations stuff as likely the weakest of the many ancient accounts of the event. It is only recently that I re-read Revelations and was able to get anything at all from it. The many other times I read it, I got nothing at all out of it. The literature that I have found most compelling are from the Vedas, the Mayans, the Hopi, Australian Aborigines, Macro-astrology, and many other ancient predictions. The Vedas description of the end of the Kali Yuga is a very accurate image of today, and the Hopi nine signs of the end times are the clearest I have seen. Eight of them have come to pass already. I concluded that I found it unlikely that such widely separated and independent peoples would all come up with the same wrong picture.

please dont tell me the world is not coming to an end. please please will the end not hurry? the end will bring such peace. dont delay. im not joking either. telling people that living in this hell hole will not end soon may just be the worst thing you can do. life is about living but how can people live while being slaves. its over. a few more years and thats about it. i want to be with my son when it happens playing xbox or something. but gaah let it end already.

the natural man receive not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

btw i laugh at the Y2Ks myself...

To be completely honest...

I cant say that I mind one way or another... If the worlds ends in the sense that mankind on Earth goes extinct... Ok, big deal, enjoy the next life eh? What can you do? It makes no sense to panic.

If something happens that ends "life as we know it." AWESOME! It's about time something really changes, I'm getting bored of this world, I'm ready for some adventure. Bring it on.

People just need to learn how to chill out... Take it easy, accept what comes, and make the most of it.

I was born ready.

I agree with you Vheissu. Eather way I have a strong feeling that I've done what I could in this existance. If the world were to end tomorrow, I'd want to witness it. I've had a few dreams where there was a huge commet about to hit the Earth, and in every one of those dreams, I would walk outside, look up at the giant rock, strech my arm outwards and I would be calm, as if I knew that no matter what happened, I knew I've helped people, saved a few lives, and tried to be the best person that I could be, while others run around like chickens with their heads cut off. But when you really think about it as I have over the years, what would you really do if what I described above came to pass, or something else that would kill us all? I for one, know that the first thought in my mind would be, "We're screwed", but I would be okay with that. With all the hate and pain in the world today, to tell you the truth, it really hurts me. Yeah sure, my dad was an abuseive drunk who beat the hell out of my mom and I, but I lived through that and it made me a stronger person. And I think about it and here I am, sitting in a small rented condo trying to make ends meet, pay the bills, and take care of family, while elsewhere some kid is crawling in the street looking for food so he/she can eat for the first time in days, and I take that to heart. It seems to me that so many evil people come out on top, have money to spend while eating lobster that their personal maids have served them, and it's just not fair! I've worked hard myself, but let me tell you, if I ever win the lottery, I'll continue to live in this small crappy condo and GIVE all those winnings to people less fortunate just beacause I can put my self in their shoes. I wouldn't want to crawl through streets scavenging, sitting against buildings to rest, with my ribs showing because of lack of sustenance, like you see in videos and in ads on TV. If there is a god, I hope he/she judges me for what I've done, not for what the human race has done. And I have a strong faith that I will be. However, as long as I am here, I will continue to help those in need, even if it kills me. And when I gained that mindset, I stoped thinking about suicide, and in the long run, it's saved me, so that I could possibly save others. I only wish that about a billion others would adopt this same mind set. And thats what I love about this site and why I've continued to keep reading, because people share these same thoughts as I do, and that keeps me going. United we stand.

I enjoyed reading your post but you need to know that you can't be saved by your good works.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

You can't be good enough. If you have broken one part of the law, you break the whole law.

10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Only through faith in the the One that paid the price for your sin can you be saved.
Only by being born again can you have life.

Well I believe what I believe and try to respect others points of view, I think I'll continue living how I have been and let the "One" judge me when the time comes.

Literally, every year has at least one date where the 'world will end'. It's supposed to have ended numerous multiple times already, It gets slightly tiring! all the suicide cults who knocked themselves off thinking it was armageddon were all proved wrong, as is any mystic or psychic that has predicted the world ending up to this date. Thus I don't place any faith that anyone else knows more about the world ending in the future. Not that it could actually end, short of some meteroite impact or something.

It isn't bad at all at the moment. There is tension in the middle east, but correct me if I'm wrong, but the level of global tension is NOTHING compared to WW1, WW2 and the Cold War to name but three of the bigger events. I don't see anything escalating, more of the opposite actually.

Syria is one but by then it will be ww3 take over of democracy because it dont matter because we are the usa bull#. I love usa i live in usa but our government is F.c.e. We as a people are good people its our gov. I dont think that the end of the world will be ww3 but I do see something probably coming... aliens?... with all the stuff ive been investigating lately. I wouldnt doubt it. Atlantis is one. Just recently but thats not all. 2012=end of this age and new age starts where we all actually give a damn about this world... Why cant we all be rich?
