The bloodline theory was made famous by Dan Brown.
The theory has been around for 30-40 years. I think the first mention of it came from two British writers, they called the book Holy Blood, Holy
Grail.
They made a very plausible case for Jesus and Mary being married. Lots of evidence and customs at the time pretty much forces Jesus to be married in
order to teach.
Jesus came down in the form of a man to take away our sins when he died. In order for him to do that he had to live as a mortal. Is it that much of a
stretch that he got married and fathered children?
I believe there is a bloodline out there, but when and if they announce it they will have undeniable proof. If you are the decendant of Jesus Christ,
perhaps the most important man in history, you are going to keep the documents that show proof very safe.
