Clowns enhance fertility

"Clown Therapy" is a program where people dressed as clowns entertain patients either in hospital settings or their homes. It became popular in the United States because it helped cancer patients, especially children.

The article from BBC NEWS explains that women in Israel who underwent in vitro fertilization had a much higher success rates when they had also been entertained by clowns.

The doctor notes that the issue remains one of "who will pay the clowns?"

I hate clowns. When I think of clowns, I still think of John Wayne Gacy. Or Pennywise.
Besides, I have never found clown enetrtaining, except when used as target practice.

I had a problem with clowns growing up, I think it was mostly the forced Bozo watching as a child.

Though I will admit to freaking out when Ronald McDonald made an appearance at the mcdonalds down the street from my house. But in my defense I was six and it was the seventies.
