This is very interesting. Turtles never stop growing either- all reptiles grow as long as they are alive - and they don't seem to die of old age.
Well, if something never stops growing, the if it never got old and died, we should be some mightly big reptiles afoot in the world. Some of the
Galapagos tortoises are over 600 lbs.

150 is about as long as they live. If we could cross a tortoise with a redwood tree, would a island be big enough for it?
