Iran tested a Submarine launched missile as well :

Iran test-fires sub-to-surface missile 48 minutes ago

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran test fired a new submarine-to-surface missile during war games in the Persian Gulf on Sunday, a show of military might amid a standoff with the West over its nuclear activities. A brief video clip showed the long-range missile, called Thaqeb, or Saturn, exiting the water and hitting a target on the water's surface within less than a mile. The test came as part of large-scale military exercises that began Aug. 19.

So they hit a target less than a mile away? Good on them. I understand that underwater to surface missiles are quite a technological feat.

Of course, we have underwater missiles that can be launched and strike anywhere on the globe. Aside from the ballistic kind, we also have cruise missiles which can be fired from underwater and strike hundreds of miles away.

Not to mention I doubt that an Iranian sub could get within a mile of any of our surface ships unnoticed.

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran on Sunday test-fired a sub-to-surface missile in the Persian Gulf during large-scale military exercises, state-run television reported.

"The army successfully test-fired a top speed long-range sub-to-surface missile off the Persian Gulf," the Army's Navy commander, Gen. Sajjad Kouchaki, said on state television.

A brief video clip showed the missile, fired from a submarine, hitting a target on the surface of the water within less than a mile.

Actually the missile was a long range missile. The "one mile" thing was a mistake in the report.

And PrettyPrincess0188 did you just call me a moron?
