Too bad about the prop, it'll reflect radar like crazy. However, I don't think they meant it to be stealthy! It reminds me of the Vought XF-5U "flying pancake." It had very similar handling qualities. The Germans also did attempt to make a similar flying pancake before the war ended.

Too bad about the prop, it'll reflect radar like crazy

wood doesn't reflect EM waves, but it doesn't stop them either, the engine would bounce a radar wave back though


I don't think they meant it to be stealthy

I know, still you put some black paint on it, give it retractable landing gear, and even with the prop it still looks stealthy

Pack in a flare gun for countermeasures, sling a JDAM underneath it and you've got a poor man's F-117 (if it'll still take off, that is)! Still, it's a pretty nice design. The website hasn't been updated for quite a while, though...
