Is the Windows Vista a big deal?

Everybody who gets vista will need to upgrade their pc for sure :shk:

I recently tested SP2 on my P4 2GH 512mb Ram and must say that it slowed down my system a whole lot and this was after a clean install with nothing else installed.

I sure can imagine what would happen after i installed vista, plus when its out they will find a whole bunch of holes giving microsofts trackrecord.

Why bother with something thats not even remotely finished, MS will retail it as quickly as possible to try and cash in.:bnghd:

Im sticking to SP1.6 for as long as possible

Just to give everyone a kick, I've recently decided to brush up on my C programming and have chosed DOS 6.xx to use as my environment.
For the procedures I am wanting to accomplish, this is much more stable.
