Who is the Most Secretive AND Powerful Agency?

Is there a correlation between secrecy and power? My guess is that there is at least a partial correlation.

I would guess the Omega Agency as far as being the most secretive and powerful agency. My guess is that would be based on the sum of "points" (points being a quantitative analysis involving both secrecy and power).

Has every intelligence agency developed new subdivisions that are secret since 9/11/2001? My guess is that they all have, and in some cases, multiple secret subdivisions.

Better ask yourself this question:
Why woould a sane person ask anybody what is the most secret and powerfull agency??

As for the answer to your question:
If that agency is so powerfull and so secret, i don't think you'll get much of an answer from anybody exept for people who would like to point this out, or people who are gonna call you stupid or something

Without seeming a smart ass -- the Agency so secret it has no known name amongst the public.

Look into the Vatican, they are involved in everything from the FBI in DC back to Iraq and further. If they are not also thee oldest, their one of them. Whether people beleive all the religion or not, many do, and none are a bigger player in this sence.

I just might agree with this- The Vatican does hold a ton of power of everyone and has the money to assert what they want. Plus the have miles of secret books and scrolls undreground that noone will ever see again. They are most definitly hiding something.

If its the most secret then we wont know it exist.

Kind of Like Kerry remarked about the skull and bones, "its so secret I cant say anything."

Sounds more of a mock...after all, if something is secret, you wont know about it...otherwise not to secretive now is it?

Sure there are things known and their operationsn not that revealed, but to say the most secret...not sure your going to find out.

But until then I will say dAlen is the most secret agency...

I would have to agree with this. Money is the asset that greases the wheels of any effor. And the ones with the most money will have the most wheels. Or in other words, "Those who have the gold, make the rules"

Internal Affairs (IA) they can counteract most other organizations, and dont exactly tell many people what there doing.

Time and time again, people refer to the Vatican Library having, as you put it, "miles of secret books and scrolls". What sort of secret books and scrolls do you really expect to find?

Yes, there are books (it is a library after all) but keep in mind that the Catholic Church is, first and foremost, a religious organization. Again, I say yes, there are books but many of these "secret" books are of a religious nature. Written by monks and priests and other religious, books that have been kept "secret" have been done so because they might have deviated from the "official party line", so to speak, of the Church. Often the deviation at fault might have some small heretical aspect which the Church has condemned and the book is locked away.

The vast majority of the books and scrolls in the Vatican Library would interest religious historians more than any conspiracy theorist. Also remember that most of the material in this vast archive are of a religious nature and that these writings span nearly 2000 years. They would have no real interest for a conspiracy theorist.

What writings that might be of interest would probably be more recent archived material -- the last hundred years or so. Material from the Nazi eras and the Soviet Union would be the most interesting, I'm sure.

As far as being "locked away" , never to be seen again? Well, the Vatican Library is open to serious researchers; primarily historians, philosophers and theologians.
