I can 'see' auras with my mind.

Some people are surrounded in darkness, some in light.

People who are emotional, go from light or darkness to a different coloured aura, depending on their personal psyche, however they are always swirling, as if in a storm (to use emotive language).

I can also gain a glimpse into people's minds; as if to share their consciousness...

Am i mentally ill or is it possible i have developed a latent psychic ability?

It's safer for me to simply assume i'm insane and turn the ability inward onto myself, so that others are not harmed by my actions, as i have done many a time.

Your views, please.

(btw, to a person who isn't attuned to this kind of discussion i am aware that i sound absolutely mental)

I've always believed that if we turn our concentration and attention outwards --- away from ourselves --- we'll retain (and/or regain) mental health.

Those who are most disturbed and disturbing are those who focus inwards obsessively -- as if they have mirrors behind their eyelids. The cycle gets ever smaller and tighter. Their thoughts revolve totally around themselves. Sooner or later they vanish up their own colon --- and STILL they find the scenery delightful !

The most sane folk I know are those who project their attention beyond themselves; be it on gardening, helping others, fishing, art or whatever.

As to auras, I suspect most people unconsciously are aware of energies/lights/emanations etc. surrounding others. Some call it 'chemical reaction', others describe it as 'intuition'. It all comes down to the same thing really: the ability to sense if someone or something is predominantly positive or negative. It's a natural instinct and works to our benefit.

Several years ago, I realised that the individuals around whom I feel most uncomfortable seem to have 'bruise colours' superimposed or even physically. The 'bruise colours' are literally that: the colours associated with the varying stages of bruising. The worst are the latter bruise stage, such as dirty greens, dirty yellow, dirty greys and sometimes dirty purples.

I wouldn't devote a lot of thought to your sanity and or lack of it, if I were you. Instead, I'd enroll in something energetic and physical to begin, followed by dedication to something totally outside my current sphere of interest, such as hiking or reforestation projects or even further education. This will help keep everything in perspective. And, if you do have psychic abilities beyond the ordinary, these will then be healthily assimilated within the wider you.

Precisely as i saw. except that it fluctuates between green and purple... is there anything i can do to help a person who is exhibiting this kind of aura/chakra/electro-magnetic field?

i think you should learn to help people with what you have while keeping grounded... sure you might # up a few times but eventually you will do more good than bad

also try and figure out where it came from with meditation or something and put something up to try and get other people to try it...

i would sure like to try
