Can we create Commander 'DATA'

Have you guys seen Star Trek and one of its character called DATA (the android).
Can we create someone like him given the technology we have now?

To some extent, but not like that character. Seeing as the most advanced two legged walking robot, Asimo, still relies on rechargable Ni-MH batteries that limit its' time of functionality. It recogonizes voices, but can't speak. It has arms, but can't lift heavy objects. It has eyes and can detect obsticals, but isn't aware of possible hazards like fire. :/

No, I mean really like him, be superior to humans, higher technology, strength and lack of emotion.

I'm not aware of the technology to do this. At best the military may have it but then I doubt it. That technology may be more sophisticated than the creation of advanced space craft in many respects.

How about a simulation or something like that. Like a holographic image?
Can we create a holographic image?

There are supposedly holographic generators that can project images of mountains as well as large displays in the sky. I'm sure a human being isn't a problem at all.
