The airport SHOULD be a police state....

Now, as much as I believe in the Reptilian agenda/coming global ascension, let's back down to dirt here. After 9/11 happened, I agreed with myself that airports should be like a police state. It's enough having to hurtle through the air on mechanical behemoths that could be brought down by a bad screw from a disgruntled and derelict mechanic, but having also the threat of being blown out of the air is more than enough for me personally.

Mind you, I hate the airport anyway, but maybe....just maybe, people would feel more comfortable with stricter and more efficient security standards. I want bags checked three times. I want people to be limited to the bare essentials, and I want cell-phone and other electronic companies to figure out ways that phones and Ipods CAN'T be used as detonators. I want to sit down, shut up, have a Jack and Coke, and survive the friggin flight.

I want their to be an obvious armed presence on the plane. I want any yahoo with ideas to know that there is a highly-trained soldier/security officer with a fully-loaded machine gun watching you even when he isn't watching you. Basically, I would feel more comfortable with the whole airport experience if I always saw someone responsible walking around with a machine-gun.

Yes yes, all those armed personnel may create a tragic situation where there wasn't one, and yes yes, ideas like these won't exactly help the airline industry off their backs, but flying as a means of transportation isn't going away anytime soon, and it certainly feels like a few tough adaptations might mean that airplanes can't and won't be used as weapons anymore.

How can you simultaneously believe in the coming global ascension and the need for a police state? The two are complete opposites.

Well, I was kinda joshing, and I certainly don't believe in a police state.

The point was that I believe airports should have an even more obvious security presence. People may get freaked if they see an officer with a machine gun. Some people may feel more comfortable. I'm with the latter group. and I think there also needs to be an obvious, if not armed, security presence on the airplane itself. It's a lot harder to try anything while being watched, and the airport is an example of a public institution where I would willingly give up some of my personal rights and comforts.
